About Us
A Small Town Company
SomerSite Web Design is a rural Pennsylvania-based company. We hope it always stays that way! We love
being able to offer our customers a more relaxed, personalized approach to website design. We also
think our customers love the fact that we can offer our services at a much lower rate than our bigger,
urban-based competitors. We have little to no overhead costs to pass on to you and we don't have
outrageous cost-of-living expenses to cover. It pays to live rural and sell global!
Whose Idea Was This Anyway?
Our owner, Mary Ann Foxwell, grew up in Somerset County and graduated from Indiana University
of Pennsylvania in 1985. She then spent 20 years in the Baltimore/Washington/Northern
Virginia area, working as a technical writer, corporate trainer, and web developer for many large
technology/engineering corporations. After way too many years in the urban ratrace, she returned
to Somerset County and launched SomerSite Web Design in January, 2007.
